Some internet service providers do not have enough IPv4 addresses to give a different address to each customer (there just aren't enough addresses to go around). Note this doesn't apply to session-servers yet you do not have to fiddle around with any ports or anything like that. We will update this thread as the changes are rolled out. We're going to start with the login and gameplay servers first and then if that goes smoothly we will update the content servers and then the website last. This shouldn't actually change anything for you because the game is still restricted to IPv4 by default however there is a small chance that people with unusual network configurations may start using the new addresses ahead of schedule. We're going to soft-launch IPv6 on some of our servers for PC.
